DOUBLE GASKET MOUNT
The Double Gasket Mount design is a significant improvement over the conventional Gasket Mount. In addition to the Gasket arrangement on the PCB, the Q2 is also arranged with silicon to shrink the upper and lower frames to significantly reduce the sound resonance of the metal parts, reducing noise during use. With this design, the Q2 still retains significant flexibility and still increases the overall experience in the sound of typing.
NEW PCB IN SCREW STABILIZERS
With a fixed screw design to the PCB, it increases stability compared to the Stabilizers in Plate layout design. Improves the feeling of hitting better when hitting long keys. Besides, Keychron Q2 also supports well with 3rd parties such as Cherry or Durock.
HOT-SWAP
Easily replace Switches to create creative experiences. In addition, Hot-Swap on Q2 supports 3-pin or 5-pin switches and is suitable for most 3rd party Switch brands such as Cherry or Kailh.
SOUTH FACING LED RGB
With the South Facing design, the Led display is better when used with Keycaps that do not penetrate the LED. In addition, South Facing will also be more compatible with Cherry or OEM Profile Keycaps.
DOUBLE-SHOT PBT KEYCAPS WITH OSA PROFILE
With the new double-shot PBT keycaps, Keychron has introduced a new profile, which is similar in height to the OEM profile and shaped like the SA profile. They call it the OSA (OEM rounded edge) profile. The PBT keycaps will provide excellent oil resistance, improving the typing feel and preventing the character surface from fading over time.
