Met Eilik
Eilik is a new kind of robot that brings up a higher level of emotional interactions between humans and robots. He is a little companion bot with endless fun.
Eilik has a plethora of inner activities based on four basic emotional states: normal, happy, angry, and sad. Each emotion has a wide range of reactions and expressions.
Eilik's head, belly, and bottom are covered with touch sensors. He is happy when you touch his head, laughs out loud when you tickle his belly, and will be shy if you rub his bottom.
Eilik is extremely sensitive to vibrations. If you hit his head, he'll get dizzy, and, if you slap the table herd enough, he'll be scared.
So PLEASE treat him gently.
Eilik is afraid of high places. He feels insecure and unwell when he is off the ground.
But if you him in your hands, everything is gonna be okay.
Eilik's personality is evoking in response to your interactions with him. If you treat him with love, he will be happier; iff you keep annoying him, he will be more naughty than usual.
Although Eilik iss earger to get your attention every socond, life is never boring with him. He is imageinative, curious, and fun-loving. There's always something fun to do.
Alone, what Eilik can do is limited. Together, it has infinite possibilities. Sing, dance, play, laugh! Let the party begin!
We created an extremely rich expression system for Eilik in order to make him more lifelike, including laughing, yelling, crying, depressed, speechless, disappointed, cute, funny, wronged, cursing, angry, and so on. In addition, Eilik can express himself vividly thanks to dynamic animations and a 25 fps OLED screen.
Our in-house animation team is hard at work behind Eilik's real-life expression to make Eilik more vivid and fun. Every action requires the coordination and cooperation of screenwriters, storytellers, animation producers, and voice actors, before being shown to Eilik by the software engineer.
Regular updates are available via Eilik's cross-platform software, so he will be smarter, get more expressions, and download more plot content. Every update will make Eilik a better bot for you.
In order to make Eilik's arm and body more flexible and dexterous, we have designed a new servo motor especially. EM3 is 100% self-developed, from the gear layout, circuit board, to the control algorithm. Compared with the traditional 9g servo, the torque of EM3 can reach up to 3kg.
EM3 can effectively protect gears and offset external force with its overload clutch protection function. Position, voltage, temperature, and current feedback are all supported by the EM3's comprehensive control protocol, which uses a universal serial communication interface. Basic current-loop control is also available. A specific control and debugging software is also included with the EM3.
