From joke to reality - Super unique keyboard with only 3 keys for programmers

Nội dung bài viết

The programming community (coder, programmer) often whispers to each other that programming is easy now, all copy and paste. On April 1, 2021, the developer support community platform Stack Overflow created a small experiment to find out if the above statement is true or not.

During that day, whenever a user copied a piece of code on Stack Overflow, a pop-up window would appear advertising a non-existent product. The product was The Key, a super keyboard with only 3 keys and 2 functions: Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V. The Key was advertised as the new and only way to copy and paste on the Stack Overflow platform.

According to statistics, more than a quarter of Stack Overflow's 15 million users copy and paste within 5 minutes of visiting the site. A large number of other users have also seen The Key's ad and loved it. Many people have asked Stack Overflow to make this keyboard a reality.

Responding to the wishes of many users, Stack Overflow has recently officially launched the super keyboard The Key to the market.

The Key's design is extremely minimalist with 3 keys including Ctrl (with the Stack Overflow logo), C and V. The keyboard comes with a USB-C to USB cable with an impressive twisted design. As a practical product, in addition to copying and pasting, you can also program The Key to perform any keyboard command you want. The keyboard uses Kailh Box Black switches to ensure a smooth typing experience.

The Key sold out immediately after its launch, despite being priced at $29. Stack Overflow is currently taking pre-orders for The Key through its partner Drop.

According to Stack Overflow and Drop's statement, all orders will be shipped on December 13, 2021.
