The Surface Pro X in particular and Microsoft's Surface products in general all use a convenient magnetic charging port. However, the included charger from Microsoft is quite large and heavy, which reduces the mobility of the Surface somewhat. I have found a compact charger solution that still ensures performance when combined with the Surface, which is SlimQ.
Why did I choose SlimQ over any other product? Because SlimQ is the world's smallest 65W charger to date, using Gallium Nitride (GaN) material instead of Silicon like most products on the market. This new material not only helps SlimQ to be light in weight and compact in size, but also provides power transmission many times more efficiently than Silicon material.
Charging with a Type C to Type C cable gives the same speed as the included Microsoft charger, while charging with a Type C to magnetic port cable takes about 20 minutes longer. However, in exchange for a slightly slower charging, you will have 2 USB-C ports available to connect to other devices.
In addition, SlimQ also has a USB-A port that supports Quick Charge 3.0, so I can quickly charge mobile devices, backup batteries... Combining the SlimQ duo with Surface Pro X brings compactness and flexibility, making me feel really satisfied with the performance and quality.
