How does Super VOOC fast charging work?
Many smartphone chargers today operate at 5V and deliver 2A of current, so your phone's battery will receive 10W of power. Meanwhile, OPPO's fast charging technology, introduced in 2016, uses the same 5V voltage but delivers up to 4A of current, delivering 20W of power, making charging significantly faster.
When you charge, your phone will get too hot if you charge it while watching videos or playing games, because heat will be generated from two different sources. At this point, the smartphone's fast charging feature will turn off and start charging normally to reduce that temperature.
However, Super VOOC can keep the temperature lower while still maintaining fast charging at the same speed regardless of what the user is using their smartphone for.

OPPO achieved this by making a slight change to its fast charging technology. Instead of using 5V to charge, OPPO increased the voltage to 10V, double the original technology introduced in 2016.
At the time, OPPO claimed that the 5V voltage would benefit the phone because the lower voltage would result in lower temperatures and make it safe to use the phone while charging. With Super VOOC on the Find X, it's likely that the company has incorporated some safeguards to protect the battery and reduce temperatures to prevent problems while charging.
In comparison, it takes up to 220 minutes to fully charge the OPPO Find X Lamborghini Limited Edition with a 5V - 1A charger, while a regular 5V - 2A charger takes 135 minutes. With current VOOC Flash charging technology, it only takes 90 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%. However, Super VOOC has been significantly improved, can fully charge the device in just 35 minutes, 61% faster because the power is pushed to 50W with 10V - 5A parameters.
